I had a chance to use the Victoria's Centre Observatory and it's Meade 14 inch for a bit to take a picture of M13. The single frame image was taken with a Nikon D70s for 30 sec. No stacking, but a contrast stretch was done to bring out the fainter stars. Focus not perfect but for a first try I was amazed what could be captured in 30 seconds at prime focus.
