Stephan's Quintet

Stephan's Quintet is a compact group of galaxies also called Hickson group 92. It was discovered by Édouard Jean-Marie Stephan, director of the Marseille Observatory from 1864 to 1907. One galaxy, NGC 7320, the large blue one at the lower left is likely not part of the group, but a foreground galaxy in front of the others. The group lies about 300M Ly distant and spans about 500K Ly.

TV Paracorr coma corrector and SBIG ST2000 XM camera.
Guidescope WO 80mm f/6.8 APO.
Mount - Paramount ME
Used 12 R, 13 G, 13 B and 15 L 240 sec subs with dark, flat and bias frames to match.
