Sun - two solar flares in Ha detatched from the Sun's surface

Date: June 29, 2009 3:44pm PDT
Location: Victoria, BC, Canada

It's hard to tell if there are two solar flares or just one floating above the surface of the Sun.

Equipment: Canon 50D dSLR a-focal through a 2.5x Powermate & Lunt LS60THa + LS50FHa solar telescope mounted on an HEQ5 tracking mount.
Processing: ACDSee Pro 2.5 - aggressive contrast stretch, crop.
