The Sun Two Days Before the Transit of Venus

It's two days before the transit of Venus and we're waiting impatiently for the weather to settle. We've had weather forecasts from mainly sunny to rain. Sunday evening the prediction is cloudy with 30% POP. You never know with the west coast it could be clear.

This evening I set up in front of the Carillon near the Royal BC Museum. It was clear except for some thin haze over the Inner Harbour. It was time to test the equipment before Tuesday and to show interested parties that passed by the Sun speckled with many sunspots.
