NGC 281, The Pacman Nebula in LRGB

In this preliminary composite image, the Ha image was used as The luminace layer and combined with red, blue and green components of the color image using Images Plus. This is my first combined image where Ha was used to enhance the color image.

Date: October 10/11, 2009
Location: VCO Observatory, Victoria, BC.
Equipment: AT8RC telescope, EQ6 mount autoguided with OAG camera and PHD.
Imaging Camera: Orion SSPro V1 operated with Maxim DLE and an Orion 2" filter wheel.
Exposures:
RGB - 12 at 600 seconds with Astronomik clear filter.
Ha - 6 at 600 seconds with an Astronomik, Ha 13 nm filter.
Darks - 5 at 600 seconds and 20 Bias frames processed with ImagesPlus 3.50a, Photoshop and Noise Ninja
