This is an image of the Veil Nebula, NGC7960, taken through an OIII filter.

Details:-Date and location - 2009-12-05 in backyard, Fairfield Victoria.
Conditions - no moon, 4 deg C, clear with strong breeze.
Equipment - Canon T1i (unmodified) with Astronomik 12 nm H-OIII filter and 300mm f/4 lens piggypacked on HEQ5 mount.
Exposure - 29 light and 20 dark frames at ISO 3200 and f/4 for 2 min each with 8 flats for calibration.
Processing in Images Plus and Photoshop.
