Image of comet 17P/Holmes taken from my backyard in Victoria on Nov 21, 2007. The moon was nearly full and the burst of activity in the comet was fading. Nevertheless, the image still shows a lot of detail. This image was also my first with a new Astrotrack. The star images indicate the tracking was very good.

Date and Location:- 2007-11-21 in backyard, Fairfield, Victoria. Equipment:-Modified Canon 350D with 300mm lens on Astrotrack mount. Exposure:- 104 light and 34 dark frames at f4 and ISO 200 for 30sec plus 21 flat frames for calibration. Processing in ImagesPlus and Photoshop
