July 10-13 2014. As is our habit my wife and I did our annual pilgrimage to the Vancouver Island Music festival. Also as is my habit I spent a great deal of time as the weather permitted setting up my little H-Alpha telescope at various spots about the venue and showing people from very young to very old the Sun. This year was busier than ever with many repeat customers from previous years with some even seeking me out. It was so busy that I forgot to take photos of participants until I remembered close to the end of the day on the Sunday to snap a few. I provide this shot mostly to show the young’uns that there can be benefits to doing outreach. :^ )
