This is a very wide field image of M27 taken as a test to see how much detail could be obtained with a 300mm telephoto lens. This version is cropped to show more detail.

2010-09-01 from my backyard in Victoria BC
Conditions clear, calm and moist with siightly milky sky, 14 deg C.
Equipment - Canon T1i (modified) with 300mm Canon L lens on astrotrack mount.
Exposure - 27 - 60 sec lights at f/4 and ISO 800. Darks and Flats used in calibration.
Processing in Images Plus with minor enhancements in Photoshop.
