I took three photos with red, green and blue filters on the evening of September 11-12 2002 on the two-meter Plaskett Telescope at the Dominion Astrophysical Observatory. Our telescope operator that night was Julie Bolduc-Duval. The three photos were processed into colour in 2010 by John McDonald.

NGC 891 is in Andromeda. One of the original photos was used as the cover shot of the November 2002 issue of the Victoria Centre's Skynews.
