Sundial at Scotty’s Castle
Scotty’s Castle was the winter retreat of a Chicago insurance tycoon. Construction of the mansion located in the northern part of Death Valley began in 1922. I took this photo of this sundial while on a guided tour of the hacienda. The sundial is on a south facing wall.
