Northern Lights

Back from a work assignment spent in Quebec's northern region, Nunavik, where I was treated to a spectacular light show. I went for a walk on the only clear evening during my stay in the Inuit village of Puvirnituq, located just north of the 60th parallel, hoping to see the northern lights. I didn't have to go far in order to realize that the light show was already on. The greenish aurora borealis extended from the northern horizon to southern horizon via the zenith. I was able to capture a few images with some difficulties as I had only a table tripod with me.
