Perigee and Apogee Moon

Comparison of the Moon at Apogee (furthest orbital distance) to it Perigee (closest orbital distance). The difference in apparent size is noticible. The Perigee Moon is sometimes called a "Super Moon" leading some to think it is very much larger than it actially is.

Perigee Moon - 2011-03-19

Exposure - 5 frames at f/4 and ISO 800 for 1/200 to 1/800 sec combined in Photoshop and processed in ACR and Photoshop.
The image of the Perigee moon was resized to take into account the differing pixel scales for the two cameras.
