Transit of Mercury from Victoria

The 2016 transit of Mercury was well underway as the sun rose. This image was captured from my back yard in Victoria and shows a nice sunspot group (upper middle left) and mercury (lower middle right. I used a 105 mm f/7 refractor and Canon T3i camera on a Skywatcher mount. Exposure was 1/1250s at ISO 200.
