My first attempt captureing the sun with Victoria Centre's new Lundt H-alpha scope. It seems to work quite well. The very large feature on the upper right is sunspot 1726.

Modified Canon T3i camera with 2.5x Powermate.
one exposure at 1/400 sec to record surface detail and one at 1/100 sec for the prominences. ISO 800.
