This image of the Helix Nebula is a combination of images captured in 2012 and 2016.
Details
2012-09-13 and 2016-11 04 in my backyard, Victoria BC.
for the 2012 data a Modified Canon T3i on 105mm F/7 WO refractor and guided HEQ5 mount was used.
Exposure -22 4 min exposures at ISO 800
For the 2016 data a modified Canon 6D on 105mm f/7 WO refractor and unguided Celestron AVX mount was used.
Exposure -27 min of exposure consisting of 44 30s frames at ISO 3200 and 5 1m frames at ISO1600.
