M106 and Friends
M106 (NGC4258) is a bright spiral with faint arms extending far out form the bright core. Three other galaxies can be seen in the same frame.

2009/05/22 from backyard in Victoria.
Conditions - Clear warm evening with no wind.
Equipment - 105mm refractor with modified Canon 350D camera on HEQ5 mount.
Exposure - 35 60s lights, 10 darks and 8 flat frames for total of 35 min at ISO 400.
