M57, the Ring Nebula is a colorful bubble of glowing material ejected from a dying star. The remaining star core is seen in the center of the bubble. This image is a combination of results from two sessions.
Date and location - 2008-06-27 and 2009-06-05 at the VCO, Victoria BC.
Equipment - Meade 14" and Canon T1i and modified 350D cameras on Paramount ME mount.
Exposures -18 min total at ISO 800
