The Veil Nebula
The night of September 10 to 11 was exceptional at Pearson College. The sky was clear and the marine air stayed away. I aimed my optics at the Veil which was crossing the meridian. It’s always a challenge to process an image with so many stars.

Optics: Borg 77EDII at f/4.3
Camera: Canon 20Da on Kenko SkyMemo.
Exposures: 179 light frames of 90 sec, ISO 800. 4 hr 28 min.
Process: Calibrated with 37 dark frames and 30 flat frames in ImagesPlus. Combined using MinMax Excluded. Colour balance in Photoshop.
