ISS-Endeavour Pass
On Friday night, I set up at the old 16" site in hope of capturing a Perseid meteor streak.I used my wide-angle lens and pointed my camera at the north-east.The score after 2 hours and 25 minutes of integration: Perseids: 0 ISS-Space Shuttle: 1 First frame with ISS pass taken at 22:34:40 on August 10, 2007. The second taken at 22:35:41.

Location: DAO, old 16" site.
Optics: Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM.
Camera: Canon 20Da on Manfrotto mount.
Exposures: 137 light frames of 1 minute, ISO 800. Zoom-lens set at 17mm, f/4. First frame taken at 22:10:15 on August 10, 2007. Last frame taken at 00:34:40 on August 11, 2007.
Process: RAW images converted to JPEG in Canon Digital Photo Professional. Star trails created in Photoshop. Gaussian blur applied.
